3. Products and Descriptions

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the Site are error-free.

Colours of products may vary slightly from the images displayed on your screen due to monitor settings and photographic limitations. This is particularly relevant for rugs, where texture and colour may appear differently in person.

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on the Site are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice, although changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Payment must be made in full at the time of placing your order. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.

In accordance with the Consumer Rights (Payment Surcharges) Regulations 2012, we do not impose any surcharges for using any particular payment method.

5. Orders and Contract Formation

When you place an order through the Site, you are making an offer to purchase. Your order constitutes an offer to us, which we may accept or decline.

  1. You place your order through the checkout process
  2. We send you an order acknowledgement email (this does not constitute acceptance)
  3. A binding contract is formed when we dispatch your order and send you a dispatch confirmation email

If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you and issue a full refund.

6. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by contacting us at info@ruglenzahome.co.uk or by phone at +44 7721 563218.

If you cancel your order:

  • You must return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us of the cancellation
  • The goods must be in their original condition, unused, undamaged, and in resaleable condition
  • Return shipping is free of charge
  • We will refund the full purchase price, including the original delivery cost (if applicable), within 14 days of receiving the returned goods

7. Consumer Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all products must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality: free from defects, safe, and durable
  • Fit for purpose: suitable for the purpose for which they are supplied
  • As described: matching the description, sample, or model provided

If a product does not meet these standards, you are entitled to:

  • A full refund within 30 days of delivery
  • A repair or replacement if a fault is discovered after 30 days but within 6 months
  • A partial refund if a repair or replacement is not possible after 6 months (within the expected lifespan of the product)

These rights are in addition to your 14-day cooling-off period and do not affect your statutory rights.

8. Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 business days. Our delivery carriers include Evri, DHL, and Royal Mail.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control (see Force Majeure below).

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, graphics, logos, and designs, is the property of Ruglenza Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any content from this Site without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any breach of the terms implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (title and quiet possession)
  • Defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987

Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products purchased from us.

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government actions, or disruption to delivery networks.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
